Who We Are

CustomSilicon.com is a network of hand picked specialists from multiple fields in silicon development which are brought in as the project is driven from Concept to Mass production.

Raul is currently responsible for major system company's custom silicon and sensor projects and roadmap. Raul was also in the past the directly responsible Silicon Manager for 18 ICs ramped to mass production at Apple for iPhone and iPad, and 29 total ICs ramped to mass production. Raul was directly responsible for the development of mobile processor System PMICs for the iPad2, New iPad, iPad mini, iPad 4 and iPhone 5s. Other silicon included, backlight/display power for iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s, lightning connector silicon and video buffers. He managed teams across the Globe.

Raul was also responsible as Founder and Design Director for PMIC development at Intersil where he recruited all IC development functional areas for a team that grew to over 20 engineers, and was later acquired by Renesas. Raul has also led System development teams most recently leading the analog and power management team at Snapchat Spectacles, and also as Director of EE in Microsoft's Hololens project hiring and leading the analog and power management team there.

Raul started his career as an analog IC designer at Texas Instruments, and spent the first half of his career designing ICs. Raul's experience in both silicon and systems, and his project management skills bring the full spectrum needed to drive custom silicon and sensors.
